What causes an infection in the pulp of a tooth?
When bacteria enters your tooth through cavities, cracks or flawed fillings, your tooth can develop an infection in the pulp. If this happens, the infection must be removed otherwise it can cause serious oral health problems.

How is a root canal done?
The dentist or endodontist will give you an anesthetic to freeze your mouth.
